Trying to define a “perfect parent” in today’s diverse society is difficult, as parenting is deeply influenced by culture, values, and upbringing. New parents often strive for this well-intended pursuit of “perfect parenting” but it can create unanticipated problems. This workshop will address these issues and suggest ways to let go of perfection to achieve a more balanced parenting approach.
