For employees based in Hong Kong:

For Dow Jones Hong Kong group medical plan members (for both employees and dependents) who opt to take a flu shot, our insurance plan can cover the cost under the “Health Checkup/ Vaccination” benefit of up to HKD2,000 per calendar year, subject to the policy terms and conditions. Please arrange to have this done at a clinic of your choice and submit the receipt to our medical insurer Generali for claim (please do not submit via Concur).

Alternatively, you may get a free flu shot e-voucher offered by Generali this year on a first come first served basis. The voucher is applicable for vaccination at designated clinics and is valid until 31 March 2025. Please click here for more details and how to get a voucher.

Note: Immunity to influenza begins approximately two weeks after getting the shot. We encourage employees to take note of health practice recommendations by your local health authority or consult your family physician before getting the flu shot.
