How do I enroll in benefits?
We will enroll you for insurance benefits in your first month with Dow Jones. Please make sure your personal information on Workday including full legal name, national ID number, date of birth, mobile number and bank account details are accurate for insurance enrollment.
Please also input your dependents’ information here in Workday so that we can enroll your dependent children for medical insurance if applicable.

When are new hires eligible for health and welfare benefits?
New hires will be eligible for the China group insurance benefits including medical and life insurance, and other welfare benefits such as wellbeing reimbursement, ClassPass, Headspace, Peppy and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) from your join date with Dow Jones.
In the event that you need to visit a panel clinic before the you get the E-Medical card, please pay the consultation charges first and claim via insurer later. In case of a medical crisis before your enrollment process is completed, please contact us via Sofi and we will assist in escalating the case on priority.
Is there a cost to my healthcare?
The group insurance plans are fully sponsored by Dow Jones.
How do I enroll in the pension?
Pension Insurance and Housing Fund are provided under the Statutory Social Insurance for eligible employees and cities through Beijing FESCO/ Shanghai CIIC. They will work with you on completion of relevant forms when you join Dow Jones. Please contact the Payroll Team via Sofi for questions on social insurance enrollment, contributions, and tax.
