How do I enroll in benefits?
You will be automatically enrolled in the insurance benefits in your first month with Dow Jones. Please make sure your personal information in Workday including full legal name, citizenship/PR status (if applicable), NRIC or FIN number, date of birth, mobile number and bank account details are accurate for insurance enrollment. You will receive a Welcome Email from the insurer with instructions to register for the insurer portal once your enrollment is completed.
To enroll your dependent(s) (spouse/partner and children) for medical benefits, please add their details in our Darwin BenefitHub (accessible via Okta > Singapore Benefits Hub). If eligible, they will be automatically enrolled in applicable insurance benefits. You will receive an introductory email from BenefitHub during your first week once your portal access is set up.
When are new hires eligible for health and welfare benefits?
New hires will be eligible for the Singapore group insurance benefits including medical and life insurance, and other welfare benefits such as wellbeing reimbursement, ClassPass, Headspace, Peppy and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) from your join date with Dow Jones. Details of these benefits are available in this benefits website as well as the BenefitHub.
Upon completion of your probation period (6 months of service), you will be eligible for the optical and health check-up reimbursement benefit and can file claims via BenefitHub.
In the event that you need to visit a panel clinic before the you get the E-Medical card, please pay the consultation charges first and claim via insurer later. In case of a medical crisis before your enrollment process is completed, please contact us via Sofi and we will assist in escalating the case on priority.
Is there a cost to my healthcare?
The medical insurance plan is fully sponsored by Dow Jones for you and your eligible dependents.
When am I eligible for pension?
Both you and the Company have the ability to save towards your retirement through the Government Central Provident Fund (CPF) and/or Dow Jones Singapore Retirement Benefit (DJSRB) schemes.
All permanent full-time employees on the local Singapore payroll will be enrolled to the DJSRB scheme upon completion of the probation period.
How do I enroll in the pension?
The Payroll Team will enroll you into the schemes when you are onboard with Dow Jones (or completed probation for DJSRB). You will receive a Welcome Email with the login details within one month from enrollment into the DJSRB scheme.
